PELLEW--SAKER.
A pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Matthew's Church to-day, when Miss Mabel Saker, fourth daughter of Mr and Mrs G. Saker, of Perry Street, Masterton, was married to Mr Walter Pellew, of Napier, and formerly of Masterton. The bride, who entered the ehurch upon the arm of her father, was charmingly attired in white silk with net overdress and pearls, and wore the orthodox wreath and veil. Miss Kitty Saker, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and wore a pretty frock of amethyst taffeta silk, with hat to match. Both the bride and bridesmaid carried lovely bouquets. Mr J. Hebenton was best man, and the Rev. John Walker, M.A., was the officiating clergyman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride's parents. The young couple left by the afternoon train for the south on their honeymoon.
