April 1935 Vestry Meeting
A meeting of the vestry was held in the Parish Hall on Tuesday, April 30th, at the conclusion of the Annual Meeting. (Page 250)
Present
The Vicar presiding, all Wardens and Vestrymen, except Messrs Denbee and Ramsay.
Monthly meeting
Mr J Ninnes proposed that the regular meeting be held on the last Tuesday in the month as usual, at 7.30 p.m. in winter and 8 p.m. in summer. Seconded by Mr Clarke and carried.
Quorum
Mr Clarke moved and Mr Russell seconded that the quorum be five. Carried.
Treasurer
Mr J Ninnes moved and Mr R E Maunsell seconded that Mr H A R Dunderdale be re-elected Treasurer. Carried.
Hon. Secretary
Mr T T Denbee was re-elected Hon. Secretary on the motion of Messrs J Ninnes and W clarke.
Collection
The Churchwardens were appointed to take up the collection for the ensuing month.
Badminton
The question of hiring the hall for badminton was left in the hands of the Vicar and H A R Dunderdale, with power to act, on the motion of Mr Clarke, seconded by Mr Penistone.
