RISHWORTH-BENNETT

A wedding of considerable local interest took place in St. Matthew's Church this afternoon, when Miss Nora Catherine Bennett, youngest daughter of the late Mr Joseph Bennett, of Otahoua, was married to Mr Horace Wilfrid Rishworth, son of the Rev. J. S. Rishworth, of Auckland. The service was fully choral, and the Rev. Herbert Watson officiated...

The only bridesmaid was Miss Wilmot Bennett, sister of the bride... Mr Berne Vallance, of Kahumingi, acted as best man, and a large number of relatives and guests were present...

After the ceremony the Misses Vallance entertained a large number of guests at Otahoua, when the customary speeches were made, and the happy couple received the congratulations of their many friends.

Later in the afternoon Mr and Mrs Horace Rishworth left by motor car to spend several weeks' honeymoon, after which they will take up their residence in Cornwall street, Masterton.
