MABSON, Cyril Rous
Former vestry member and Masterton Borough Council engineer.
MABSON.--On January 3, 1963, Cyril Rous, loved husband of Christina, of 119 Pownall Street, Masterton, loved father of Ngaire (Mrs C. C. Wild Waverley) and Reg (Upper Hutt). A Service will be held at St. Matthew's Church, Masterton, Saturday, January 5, 1963, at 10 am.
Funeral then leaving for the Karori main crematorium arriving at 1 p.m. Wairarapa Funeral Services Ltd.

FENDALL, Walpole Arthur
Walpole Arthur Fendall was choir director and vestry member at St Matthew's, Masterton, in the early 1900s. He was also layreader with responsibility for Rangitumau.
He resigned in July 1908.
He was the son Walpole Chesshyre and Lucy Hyacinthe Fendall, nee Swann, of Pleasant Point. He attended Christ's College from 1887 to 1888. He married Ellen Sheppard in 1899.
He was a bank manager, whose work took him all over New Zealand.
He died in 1954.
