Present

Major presiding; Vestrymen Dunderdale, Ninnes, Hale, Penistone and Denbee.

Minutes

The minutes of the last meeting of the Vestry held Thursday, February 29, were read and confirmed.

Old Parish Hall

Arising therefrom Mr Denbee was asked to write the Secretary to the Amateur Theatrical Society, requesting them to remove all their belongings from the Old Parish Hall by the 13th April.

Tennis court

It was resolved that the Secretary of the Tennis Club be asked to remove a certain bolt in a post on the court which is considered dangerous.

Financial statement

Mr Dyer presented his report showing the approximate position of the various accounts at 31 March 1929.

Parishioners' Annual Meeting

It was resolved that the Annual Meeting of Parishioners be held on Wednesday, April 24, in the Parish Hall at 7.30.

Offertories

The Churchwardens were appointed to take up the offertories for April.

The meeting closed with the Grace.
