At S. Matthew's Church, yesterday morning, Miss I. E. Barker, eldest daughter of the late Mr C.J. Barker, was married to Mr William F. Bairstow, second son of the late Mr J. Bairstow, of Clareville. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr Alexander Barker... Misses Miriam and Leila Barker were the bridesmaids... Mr B. Bairstow, brother of the bridegroom, was the best man. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. A.M. Johnson. A reception was held afterwards at the residence of the bride's mother, Hall Street. Mr and Mrs W.F. Bairstow left for the South in the afternoon.
