Special vestry meeting
Minutes of Special Meeting of Vestry held at the Vicarage on Monday, Dec 20, 1932, at 8 pm. (page 209)
Present
The Vicar Presiding. Churchwardens Ninnes and Maunsell; Vestrymen Hosking, Hale, Hyde, Clarke, Penistone, Peacock, Coleman, Russell, Denbee.
Business
Organ Repairs
Mr [Harry] Tustin "who was in attendance" detailed the repairs necessary to put the organ into an efficient state quoting the cost of carrying out the work £180.
Having heard Mr Tustin Dr Hosking moved
(a) That the work of carrying out the necessary repairs to the organ be entrusted to Mr Tustin.
(b) That Mr Tustin's price for the job, viz, £180 be accepted.
(c) That on completion of the work Mr Tustin be paid £140. The question of drawing against the £140 by way of progress payments to be by mutual consent. Seconded by Mr Peacock and carried unanimously.
Assistant Clergy Fund
Mr Ninnes moved and Mr Penistone seconded That the whole of the offertories on Xmas Day be devoted to the Assistant Clergy Fund. Carried.
The meeting closed with the Grace.

Harry Tustin was the local organ builder for Norman and Beard, a respected firm of English organ builders, responsible for - among others - the Wellington Town Hall organ.
Harry Tustin in front of the largest organ pipes in the Wellington Town Hall organ. He installed the organ, built by Norman and Beard, in 1906.
