Report and Balance Sheet
Mr Denbee moved and Mr Ninnes seconded That the report and balance [sheet] as circulated be accepted as read. Carried.
Adoption of Report and Balance Sheet
The Vicar moved the adoption of the report and Balance Sheet and in doing so, briefly surveyed the year's work in the Parish, stating that the past year had been one of spiritual advance and definite encouragement. He stated all Branches of the Church's work had been well maintained and this could not have been possible but for the local support so wholeheartedly given by many parishioners.
Mr Ninnes seconded the report, expressing himself as being well satisfied with the financial position of the Parish and paying a well-deserved tribute to our Choir Master Mr W. C. Mann for the high state of efficiency to which he had brought our choir, also the Ladies Guild, for their great effort for the Parish.
After our Treasurer Mr H A R Dunderdale had reviewed the various parish accounts, The adoption of the Report and Balance Sheet was put and carried.
Election of Officers and People's Warden
Vicar's Warden: The Vicar nominated Mr A G Maunsell as his Warden for the ensuing year.
Mr J Ninnes was unanimously elected People's Warden for a further term.
Vestrymen
The following nominations were received for the office of 10 vestrymen, viz, Messrs Hosking, Denbee, Peacock, Hale, Hyde, Clark, Penistone, Russell, Coleman, Griffin?, and P W Jackson. There being one nomination in excess of the number of vacancies to be filled, the nomination of Mr P W Jackson was withdrawn, thus leaving the required number without an election. The Vicar declared the ten men named duly elected vestrymen for the ensuing year.
