MASTERTON, January 10

A fashionable wedding was celebrated at St. Matthew's Church, Masterton, this afternoon, the contracting parties being Miss Kathleen Meredith, youngest daughter of Mrs Meredith. of "Llandaff," Masterton, and Mr Alan A. Cameron, of Castlepoint station, North Wairarapa, son of Mr Duncan Cameron, of Moroa, Greytown. The church was prettily decorated by friends of the bride, and was filled with relations and guests, twenty motor-cars as well as cabs conveying them to the church. 

The bride... was given away by her brother, Mr J. M. Meredith... The bridesmaids were Miss Grace Cameron, sister of the bridegroom, Miss Kathleen Beard, and two little girls--Miss Eileen Sladden (Wellington), niece of the bride, and Miss Marjorie Goring Johnston (Wellington), niece of the bride-groom... 

The bridegroom was attended by Mr Bert Bunny as best man, and Dr Macrae, of Tinui, as groomsman... The ceremony was performed by the Rev. H. Watson. A reception was afterwards held at "Llandaff," the residence of the bride's mother. The reception rooms were beautifully decorated...

Mrs Meredith, mother of the bride, was attired in a handsome black satin gown... Mrs Cameron, mother of the bridegroom, wore a black voile dress over grey silk... 

Among those present were the Misses Cameron, Mrs Fred Pearce, Mr and Mrs G. Harold Smith (Pahiatua), Mrs McKersey, Dr and Mrs Dawson (Pahiatua), Mr and Mrs Hubert Sladden (Wellington), Mr and Mrs J. B. Moodie, Mr and Mrs J. M. Meredith, Mr and Mrs Cecil Kebbell, Mr and Mrs Goring Johnston (Wellington), Mr and Mrs D. T. Cameron, Miss Hamlin, Mr and Mrs Maunsell, Dr and Mrs Hosking, Mr and Mrs Arthur Bunny, and Mr and Mrs Hirschberg.

Mr and Mrs Cameron left during the afternoon by motor-car, amidst a shower of gold and silver horseshoes, en route for the North..
