Present
The Vicar presiding; Churchwardens Maunsell and Ninnes; Vestrymen Hosking, Hyde, Clark, Penistone, Russell, Coleman, Peacock, Griffin and Denbee.
Business: Notice of Motion
Further consideration of the lease of Section to Mr Harcombe. Mr Hyde moved and Mr Peacock seconded That the resolution passed by the Vestry recommending the Diocesan Trustees to accept 25/- per foot for a further 40 ft fo the Old Church Site [Church Acre] Be Rescinded. Carried.
Leasing of Section to Mr Harcombe
Mr Hyde moved That it be a recommendation to the Diocesan Board of Trustees, That the offer of Mr Harcombe to lease a further section at 22/6 per foot Be Accepted, subject to the new lease conforming with his existing lease in the matter of revaluation, i.e., the new lease will be subject to a revaluation at the same time as the existing lease which the vestry understands will be in about 16½ years. Seconded by Mr Maunsell and carried, Mr Denbee wishing to have his vote recorded against the motion.
The meeting then closed with the Grace.
