A quiet wedding was celebrated in St. Matthew's Church this afternoon, the contracting parties being Mr James R. White and Miss Frances J. Birkett, both of Masterton. The bride was attended by Miss Catherine Lee as bridesmaid, and Mr William Mitchell was best man. The ceremony was performed by Rev. H. Williams.
