Vestry Meeting
Minutes of Vestry held in Common Room on Thursday, July 30, 1925, at 7.30 p.m. Page 83.
Present
The Vicar presiding; Churchwarden Hosking; Vestrymen Hale, Penistone, McCartney, Morton, Ball, Williams and Denbee.
Apologies for absence were received from Messrs Green, Best, Maunsell and Hyde.
Financial Statement
The Financial Statement as presented by the Treasurer was adopted and accounts appearing thereon totalling £311.8.11 passed for payment.
Rev. Datson's position on Vestry
It was resolved that the Rev. Datson's standing on the Vestry be the same as the Rev. Gibson, viz, That he be at all times welcomed in an advisory capacity, but that he have no voting powers.
Curate stipend
That the stipend of Rev. Datson from August 1st 1925 be at the rate of £250 per annum and that the question of stipend come up for review again in three months' time.
Fence on Park Avenue
In connection with the erecting of a new fence at the back of the church sections, It was resolved that a sub-committee consisting of Messrs Hosking, Hale and Denbee be set up, such Committee be given power to act.
The meeting closed with the Grace.
