Minutes of Vestry Meeting held in the Common Room on Thursday, November 27, 1924, at 7.30 p.m. (Page 70)
Present
The Vicar presiding; Churchwarden Hale; Vestrymen Penistone, Hyde, Herbert, Best, Williams, Ball, McCartney, Denbee and Rev. Gibson.
Apologies for absence were received from Dr Hosking and Mr Maunsell.
Financial Statement
The financial statement as appears on page 735 was adopted and accounts appearing thereon totalling £683 passed for payment.
Finance Meetings
It was resolved on the motion of the Vicar that the question of Church Finance be debated on four ordinary meeting nights in each year only, viz, on the ordinary meeting nights in March, June, September and December. That for the current year a special meeting be held on December 18, 1924 in the Common Room at 7.30 p.m.
Boy Scouts
The Vicar moved and Mr Hale seconded that the structure? now in the Old Church be handed over to the Boy Scouts for their use forthwith.
Offertories
Messrs Penistone and Hyde were appointed to take up the offertories in December.
The meeting closed with the Grace.
