Present

The Vicar presiding; Vestrymen Briden, Penistone, Hale, McCartney, Morton, Green, Smith and Denbee.


Minutes

The Minutes of the last Vestry meeting held on Thursday, February 24 were read and confirmed.


Church organ

A letter was received from the manager of Dodd Ltd re the state of the organ.

The Vestry resolved that the matter be left in the hands of the Organ Committee to report to the next meeting of the Vestry. The letter in question was handed to Mr Penistone.


Repairs to Vicarage

Mr Hale moved and Mr McCartney seconded that the Vestry as a whole visit the Vicarage for a general inspection at 2 pm on Saturday, April 9th.


Financial statement

The Financial Statement as appearing on Page 711 was adopted and accounts appearing thereon passed for payment.


Annual meeting

The date of the Annual Parishioners' Meeting was left in the hands of the Vicar.


It was resolved that at the Parishioners' Meeting light refreshment be supplied on similar lines to the year previous, and that Mrs Hale be appointed to take charge of the refreshments.

Messrs Briden and Denbee were appointed to take up the offertories for April.

The meeting closed with the Grace.
