A quiet wedding was solemnised at St. Matthew's Church, Masterton, yesterday afternoon, when Miss Edith Murray, second daughter of Mr and Mrs J. L. Murray, of Masterton, was married to Lieutenant G. H. Davey, N.Z.E.F., son of Mr and Mrs G. Davey, Foxton. The ceremony was performed by Archdeacon Johnson, of St. Paul's, Wellington, assisted by the Rev. Walker, M.A. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Gladys Murray, as maid of honour, and Gunner W. Davey acted as best man. Lieutenant and Mrs Davey left later by motor for Auckland and Rotorua.
